'The comfortable and homely hotel CARINA is located in the middle of Hernals, Vienna´s 17^th district. Here you can experience the flair of "Old Vienna" close-by but still off-site the hustle and bustle of Vienna´s old town.
The infrastructure in the immediate vicinity is well established: street cars, suburban train, busses and cabs take you right to your destination as well as to downtown – without the need for your own car. Using street cars 43, 44 and J you arrive within just 10–15 minutes driving time trouble-free at the heart of the city, the University, the Vienna State Opera House, passing by the Vienna Stadthalle, the Vienna General Hospital, the theater "Metropol", the "Fiakermuseum" (Coaches-for-Hire Museum) and the "Theater in der Josefstadt". Bus line 10A takes you directly to Schönbrunn Palace.
The hotel CARINA is also the ideal starting point for tours – experience the coffee tradition with a cup of typical Viennese coffee in the Wilhelminenberg Palace, take a walking tour to the observation tower Jubiläumswarte to enjoy a view over Vienna or take a stroll in the Vienna Woods. A number of wine taverns called "Heurige" are located within walking distance from the hotel and invite you to enjoy the famous Viennese wine – as Vienna is the only capital that presses its own wine. The hotel CARINA is located at the foot of the Wilhelminenberg, in-between the Hernalser Hauptstrasse, Wattgasse and Geblergasse. The hotel comprises 27 guest rooms on 4 floors, easily accessible by elevator.
The hotel and the guest rooms are newly renovated and state of the art providing a contemporary and modern environment. The house holds a reception, a bar, a lobby with seating-accommodation, and an internet-access free of charge for checking your e-mails. In the breakfast room you can get ready for the day.
